To live in Church of Madonna del ciclista
A work by the architect Paolo Brentel (2006), the structure of this church is made up of five partition walls cast on-site, spaced by glass windows, the vanishing point of which projects towards Piazza Castello. The interior is rich in works such as the Madonna del Ciclista (Holy Virgin of Cyclists) by Gigi Carron made of majolica ceramics, the altar by Gabriele Todesco, The Evangelists by Gianni Tosin, The Christ by Gianni Bertacco. The external cross is by Roberto Lanaro. The marble inlay work on the floor, with its red marly limestone verdello rock from Rubbio and its red rock from Monte Corno, reminds of Archimedes’ salinon geometry.
